How to Play

Canuckle is a daily word puzzle where you have 6 attempts to guess a 5-letter secret word. After each guess, you'll receive clues about the position and occurrence of the letters in the secret word.

  • Type in your 5-letter guess.
  • The game will provide visual clues to help you make better guesses.
  • For your next guess, keep the green letters in the same position, rearrange the yellow letters, and replace the grey letters with new ones.
  • You keep guessing until you've used up all 6 of your attempts.
  • You'll be victorious when you correctly guess the mystery word within the allotted attempts. If you haven't solved it by the final round, come back tomorrow for a new challenge.
  • Tips for Winning

    Combine vowels like A, E, I, O, and U with consonants like S, T, R, N, and L for your initial guess.

Maximizing the information gained from clues is key in any word-guessing game. While Canuckle uses a different color scheme, the underlying concept remains the same.

  • 🟩 Green: Correct letter in the right spot.
  • 🟨 Yellow: Correct letter in the wrong spot.
  • ⬜ Gray: Letter is not in the word.
  • If you're finding it difficult to arrange the letters, take advantage of online resources. There are numerous lists of 5-letter words at your disposal.

Regular play is recommended for those new to the game or with a limited Canadian vocabulary. This will help you learn the rules and develop effective strategies.
